Sunblock? Yes! You absolutely need it.
Let’s settle this once and for all: yes, you absolutely need sunscreen. Even if it’s cloudy outside or you “stay inside.” I know, I know… you’re not laying out at the beach, you barely step outside, you work from home, blah blah. Trust me, I’ve heard every excuse. And so have my family members who work for dermatologists. And let me tell you, the stories they’ve shared are wild. People of all ages—yes, even those in their early 20s are already showing signs of skin cancer or serious sun damage. It doesn’t matter how healthy you eat, how hydrated you stay, or how fit you are. UV rays doesn’t care. So consider this your loving reminder to get it together and lather up every single morning. Let’s keep it simple. Make sure you’re using sunblock with SPF 30 or higher. So when should you use sunblock? Every. Single. Morning. Even when it’s raining. Even when you’re working from home. Even when you “don’t feel like it.” SPF is the first ingredient in the recipe for long-term glow. Your skin will thank you today and ten years from now.
